as my friends and will punish nobody who was previously guilty. Should anybody still take up an ambiguous attitude and hesitate to mend his ways, I will as my

office of General in Command demands, take drastic

measures to deal with him without any leniency, and so

do my duty to the spirit which calls for the salvation

of our Kuomintang and Nation. I publish this in all

sincerity and hope that all will take it into consideration.
